Jesus it’s been a long time since I last did anything with my channel or my Tumblr. I’m not dead, if you think I am, I’ve just been busy, I guess. Last week I was recovering from my exhausting internship in Norway, which was absolutely awesome I’ll have you know, and now I’m kind of starting to get back into the game.
So, I’ll try to keep up my schedule as I posted before, so I’ll have a WiFi battle for you tomorrow, so there’s that. Also, I get off from school at 5 PM tomorrow (ridiculous, right) so I won’t have a lot of time to play Pokemon Pearl anymore. Therefore, there might be a chance that I don’t upload another episode on Tuesday, but I’ll definitely have one on Thursday, because I get off earlier than usual on Wednesdays. There, filled you in on my school time table.
Anyways, it’s good to be back, I’ve really missed it.

So, I’ve decided to make my channel a bit more organized, by enforcing an uploading schedule, and it shall be as follows:
Mon: WiFi
Tue: Let’s Play
Wed: WiFi (if I have enough material)
Thu: Let’s Play
Fri: WiFi
Sat: -
Sun: -
I’ll have no uploads in the weekends, because I’d like to use them to stock up on more material to show the week after, and don’t really want to waste it instantly the day it’s been recorded. Maybe, if I’m in a giving mood, I’ll upload a Let’s Play part on a Sunday, but don’t count on it. Wednesday will only have uploads if I had a good session over the weekend, but that’s also something I wouldn’t count on. The rest is pretty much set like that, but it’s always subject to change if so required. But with that…

I’m sorry I’ve been so quiet lately, but I’m kind of in the process of learning how to play OU. It’s really difficult for me, because there’s so many things I just don’t know, and haven’t considered. Also, I find it amazing how some people know how much damage certain moves do on certain Pokes. I find it truly stunning that people know all that. I’m in the process of being one of those people, and I’ve been working real hard with my team, and my good friend Broily to accomplish just that.
I’ll be trying to do OU on WiFi, and see how that plays out for me. I’ve had a few teams, each having their own niches, and flaws, but the team I’ve constructed with Broily packs a pretty decent punch, and I’ve learned to handle it pretty well in the past 40+ matches I’ve used it in.
Anyways, I’ll upload another Let’s Play part later today, and then I’ll see if I can maybe get an OU match in, which I’ll probably upload on Wednesday or Thursday, depending on how much time I have for it (probably Wednesday, because I get out of school early then). Also, next weekend should be pretty quiet for me, so I’ll try to do as many WiFi battles as I can, to stock up a little.
One last thing. About a month ago, I applied for YouTube partnership, because I need to finance some of the things I’ve had to buy to make my WiFi battles (in particular) possible, and it got approved! It really caught me off guard, but I’m very happy that it did, because, as of right now, I’ve spend probably more than 100 bucks on it, and I’m aiming to get it back. (; Anyways…….

So, yeah, I’m sorry I didn’t get around to doing a WiFi battle just yet. Some personal stuff came up, and it’s really getting to me, so it’s going to take just a little bit longer than I’d hoped.

So, my R4i SDHC just came in today, and I managed to not break this one as of yet. In fact, I got it working. Today’s my mother’s birthday, so I’ll be busy this weekend. Also, I have exams next week, so I may not be able to do an actual WiFi battle before the end of the weekend. I’m not really planning on studying for a lot of my exams anyways, so I’ll have plenty of free time next week to do one at some point.

So, I’m pretty sure I mentioned this at some point, but about a month ago, I ordered an R4i SDHC so I could play actual WiFi battles, and record them the way everybody does. Turns out, I pretty much broke it after I’d had it about a week. Fuck.
Anyways, good news is, I ordered a new one, now being fully conscious of what I should and shouldn’t do with it (don’t even try to catch my drift), and will soon be uploading WiFi battles. Still quite unfortunately, it won’t be working the way I’d like it to be working, because my home internet connection won’t allow it.
If you care enough, read this, if not, skip to the end. So, as it turns out, an R4i SDHC doesn’t support WPA2. Go figure. I thought, being the little hacker s.o.b. I am, I’d try to make it work. Evidently, it didn’t. xD
So, for the time being, I’m saving to buy a router to allow a WEP security key, so I can play, record and upload Pokémon WiFi battles that much easier. Till then, I’ll just have to use the means at my disposal to make these YouTube Pokémon WiFi battles happen. If it sucks, for now, it’s just the way it is, and I’m sorry.
So, WiFi battles will be as soon as I got my new R4i SDHC card, and from then on I’ll be trying to improve my work regarding that for as much as I can.

Unexpected turn of events… I decided to try just one other time to record a PO battle, and what do you know, it turned out pretty good. Rendering it as we speak, should be up in about half an hour or so. I’ll be playing more Pokémon Pearl also later tonight, so I’ll have more episodes in stock for future uploads, because this is just that much easier.

Stuff has really been fucking with me today, and I probably won’t have a PO battle up, as I had originally planned. I’m probably just going to do another Pokémon Pearl gaming session so I have more episodes stocked up to upload later on because I’m pretty much all out.
Doesn’t mean I won’t be trying though. If I have time and feel like it, I’ll probably still do one, and upload it. It’s just that because my last thousand attempts failed, I really don’t feel like going for it another time. I really don’t mind losing PO battles because they’re all good fun, but it’s more often an external factor, like being interrupted, etc.
